bit of induction hose did the job nicely I used the old hose and mounted it inside the induction hose going back to the air box so that it shrinks down to the right size

Looks amazing Daz!
Really good work,looks so tidy and subtle in a way.Love the colour you've gone for on the rocker cover aswell.Very different.
Hows it pull then? Alot quicker to the old slow engine?

Cheers Dan Rocker cover i've only painted the L but i'm going to re-do it all over the next couple of weeks for it to be mint
I'm sad to say that I haven't been able to really drive it as I hit literally every stone in the road  from what I have driven it is bloody amazing compared and is such a difference in power!

Honest though pal,amazing work,want to do this to mine one day,just completes the car for me.
Atleast you've got your XE running,Ash hasn't had a naff all help from anyone local to see if they can get it running.

Ash doesnt get fuck all help when asking people that know alot about xe's they just want to sell him the conversion items they make or buy his engine and parts he has instead of helping him !

The wiring is the worst ever on mine i picked the worst of the worst i have astra gte engine loom = shit and 1.2 16v wank wiring loom, i tried been polite to people and asking on various forum but fuck all. When I have done it and know what im doing ill help people were I can like a try to do now. It will get done 2013

Well not a good start today.
Step dad's dad came round and reversed into my drivers side light and smashed it.
So he's just bought me a new set from holmesgsi.
So I repaired this one for now
Bit of cling film does the trick!
Tracking the manifold and it says it's on its way
Fitted a new rad today as well as the old one was leaking from the bottom, hopefully the new one sorts that. Whilst I was there I wacked on a new fan switch - better safe than sorry
