Fucking right i was that was unbelievable stuff!

What a days cricket, got to see some decent batting early doors, absoloute deluge at dinner, then Aus looked to have it in the bag at 109-0, they were in total control. Then it just went mental, every time Broad got the ball you fancied him to take one, ended up having figures of 6-20 in 45 balls at one point.

Brilliant atmosphere, everything just fell for us, if the sun hadnt just dipped below the cloud at the end we wouldnt have got them, we needed Broad bowling, not spinners, they were just blocking Root and Swann.

Some lads next to us left with Aus 140 odd for 3...

Ok, 5th and final test starts today, first off it seems Lehman has gone full retard re the Stuart Broad "walking" incident.

http://m.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/cricket/make-english-nemesis-stuart-broad-cry-in-ashes-summer-darren-lehmann-tells-aussie-fans/story-fni2fnmo-1226701086979

1st off he didn't nick to slip ffs, it hit Haddins gloves then went to slip. Also he neatly glosses over the number of Aussie batters who have taken the cover off it then tried to buy a life by reviewing it as well as ignoring the fact that his own captain did pretty much the same thing at Adelaide in the 2010/11 series

Anyway, whinging Aussies aside team news. Lehman has managed to dry his eyes long enough to drop Khawaja and Bird, bringing Starc back and a debut to James Faulkner. Bet Swanny is rubbing his hands already, dry pitch and two left armers creating rough on both sides of the wicket. Genius.

Obviously Bresnan is out for England and Onions is injured so it'll be most likely a straight shoot out between Finn and Tremlett.

I've not heard the interview so it could've been taken out of context but it's certainly not the brightest idea to risk firing Broad up, especially after the last test. He's the type of bowler who always seems to need a kick up the arse, hopefully Lehman's done it for us.

Well I was miles out! Kerrigan and Woakes make their dayboos. Not sure who misses out yet though, might be playing two spinners.

Really? That does surprise me, only seen woakes in the one daters when he's always been very expensive, haven't got a clue about Kerrigan.

I wouldn't be surprised if Anderson is rested? Makes sense to blood some youngens when we've won the series I guess.

Just seen, no tremlett, Finn or bairstow. So we're losing Bairstow for Kerrigan?

Whilst i understand the blooding of players i really was hoping we'd be going for the jugular. Not saying we wont win like but i was hoping we'd destroy them.

Aus win the toss and bat.

Playing 5 bowlers is a fairly positive step, not sure about Woakes though, not seen enough of him in first class but he's looked pretty average in the ODI's.

Kerrigan's a good player, taken plenty of wickets this year and should be given some rough to work with.
