Fantastic film. Not what I was expecting at all, and it blew me away.
It's a three part story, centering around three different main characters.
In essence, the film is a crime thriller, a political drama and a coming of age story all wrapped in to one.
where did you see this

Ill manors looks like that kind if film where they demonstrate that being a 'pussy'ole chavcunt guttertranp skiprat filth means your life will be a mess of failed relationships, loneliness, lack of employment, no career satisfaction, and prison time

Yet all of the skiprats who go to see it will just love the one scene where someone who has anger management and problems expressing emotions lashes out and kicks the shot out of everyone then confess to it being the best film ever as its well violent and proceed to completely miss the point of the film....

it was better than the mindless violence kind of films, yes it has violence but none ridiculous like stomping on someone's head in slow motion or unrealistic fights.

3 people got shot
1 bloke got stabbed
1 had a heart attack and burnt in a fire
1 fell out of a window

typical london imo

Supersize me 7/10 Good viewing, and inspiring. Not as stupid or lefty lefty as I expected it to be.

End of days people have said good things but I found it tedious. If it didn't have Arnie in it I would give it a 2/10 but as it did and he yells a lot in that brilliant accent of his 5/10

The Raid: 8/10 fucking awesome. It would have gotten a 9 if it was cut by around 15/20minutes.

Saw it at the flicks in December of 1999, so it was completely in context and made you think a bit.

That's not Southern Nic. That's not even an accent. That's just the sound of verbalised shit, coming out of the disgusting mouths of walking dross.

I still love iLL manors and it's still a firm 9/10 for me

It's not the content I enjoy perse. I don't really enjoy films about drugs/lowlifes/lowlife.

However, it still stands out for me. All of the cast/characters are valid...and if you watch it enough times with eyes wide open, you will see the connection between the Aaron,Ed,Kirby,Chris,Marcel,Jake, Michelle etc

And thats just the first half (which is the better half to me) it's bloody clever how the characters interact with crossing plots and interactions.

The second half isnt so great (but still good) but it wraps the story up nicely.

......

Nil by mouth tomorrow. Sounds like fun
