Vauxlad - it does it if you open the throttle like 0.5% and if you hold it there it will cut out

Try setting off in 4th up hill That's what i had to do when mine snapped for the 2nd time. I had to drive for 4 miles

well i thought 3rd was the best gear

tried 5th at first, but that didnt work!!!

did you get new ones under warranty?

I never bothered with warranty, i needed it working NOW. So the next day, drilled it out and fitted a bold straight through with some nuts on tight to space it out then put some threads into the ball. Used mole grips to tighten it all together.

So far...... so good........

Oh i was delivery driving at the time and was in a rush to keep going. When i got back i selected 3rd then drove home. I had to get a mate to tell me if the coast was clear or not so i could just fly straight out onto the main road without hitting any cars

Just change gear without the clutch




That throttle problem isn't accel enrichment then, HMMM

How can you change gear if the linkage is broken?

Plus you can go down the gears without the clutch but you can't go up them.

O yes you can, my dad drove 100 miles without a clutch once and he can go up and down gears without the clutch fine.

the clutch cable isn't broken, it's the gear linkage, so he cant change gear

there is few 1.0 turbo's on youtube but they are the older 4 cylinder one's.
