Cheers all, the rack mounts are from a seller on eBay call ADengineering, noticed they've started doing engine mounts now too.

Got a link I couldn't see them on there...

Yes mate, he had 2 different sets when I ordered mine, only difference is the pictures. The ones you need is 1 of the mounts is round the other has a flat spot to stop rack from spinning.

Yer I see the protec but all they are is alloy brackets, they don't actually hold the rack where the others do...

More of an update then people.

After having all the car tracked we didnt get home till it was dark and raining so decided to unload the next morning. Woke up to 2" of snow so that made it fun

Any way got it back in the garage eventually. My extra tank foam showed up.

so i removed the pump etc and stuffed all the foam in nice and tight, had to also make a baffle so that the foam didnt interfere with the guage float. Hard to see in the pics though.

Fitted the new rear pads as old where worn.

Re-fitted passenger seat and both harnesses.

Also did another oil and filter change.

And then today my spare stat came.

Along with this years sticker pack, entry and vehicle passes

So the cars very nearly there now, all thats left to do is:

Fully spank it up in and out and put the new stickers on.
Fit my new steering wheel which should be here soon.
Corner weight the car again.
Sort though all my spares ready to take.

Oh and just hope the snow buggers off

Re: Tank foam.... Do you think that will cure any/all surge issues? (not that I think it wont, just curious).

In our cars we've gone slightly differently...

GTR has a foam filled fuel cell, but the Impreza just has a simple swirl pot and external bigger pump.

Hey mate never had any surge problems, I've installed the foam simply to prevent/reduce fuel slopping from side to side in the tank. Should help when transferring the weight from corner to corner.

ahh, ok....

Must be quite a good tank setup then if there was no surge last year :O

Have you run it with minimal fuel.... 5l or so?
