I have told my insurance about the crash, gave them his details and my insurance organised collection of my car. I spoke to them today about a personal injury form and they have already contacted a solicitor on my behalf.
My insurance know about wheels, spoiler and alarm. Only thing left on that MY insurance dont know about are the Morrettes and central locking system

Plus he'll get a nice personal injury payput. My mate wrote his fiesta off and got whiplash from it. Wasnt his fault but he now gets to choose another car and hes gonna stand to get a few quid from the payout. My mate got £2,200 for getting a broken jaw from a punch, whiplash must pay out pretty well.

Yeah not bad I suppose if you can get all that, Injury payout, loss of earnings, more than your cars worth etc
Just I know a few people that have had a minter of a car smashed/stolen and not got what it was worth from insurance

I'm with Liverpool Victoria and am really pleased with them so far......it only took them 25 hours from the accident happening for them to get my car taken away for assessment.
Price is £1700 for my car according to parkers.co.uk, plus some for bits on.

At what point do insurance companies class it as a total loss
Im sure someone told me it was 65% book value or something

LOLOL @ 40mph - that corsa wud be demolished if that was the case!!!! Thats the exact sorta damge u'd get from a 25-30bash. At 40mph, he'd still be in hospital!
Anyway mate - good luck with claim etc - doubt u'll get ur extra £££ for morettes etc if u hadnt paid more premium to cover em.

yep, im sure there first offer will be a joke.
I want money for the car and I either want money for my spoiler, alarm, central locking and morrettes or they are coming off. I'm also going to mention that the bumpers I had on my car aren't standard to that model so I want extra for them as well.

the plastic surround of the twin lights could be fixable if broke, my old one had a damaged surround.
main thing is that you are ok sad about the car tho.
refering to a topic a few days back, wonder what the damage would of been without a crash bar fitted??

Went to hospital about 4 hours after accident, they told me to take a week off work. Been back to doctors this morning (45 hours after accident) because my necks got stiffer, they just gave me more painkillers. 3k would be sweet but not countin on any compensation for injuries
