if any premiership club had like 200 million invested in them i think they should be expected to be doing well!!
but at the end of the day! u cant beat arsenal, no massive transfers to start this season like the other teams!

I wouldnt be happy if i were an Arsenal fan. You struggled to qualify, just like newcastle did last year! Man Utd scored the most points in the group stages this year and u guys r going on as if your gonna win it
Like greg says u HAD to win last night to ensure qualification, not exactly a convincing group stage win.
Suppose u got through in the end though. I like seeing English teams do well in europe, unless that team was Watford

Considering Arsenal dont have a 60000 capacity, a Russian Billionaire and are trying to fund a new stadium I reckon we are doing pretty well.
Whatever you say about Wenger you have to respect what he has done at the club......With limited resources he has completely revolutionised the club in many ways...
1- Wenger has made a proffit in the transfer market- one of the only premiership managers to have done this
2-Arsenal now own probably the best youth acadamy in English footbal- Wenger made this a main objective when he arrived and the people who cuss arsenal because of their foreign legion may be laughing on the other side of their face in 10 years time
3- Wenger has posibly the best knowledge of promising reserve footballers around europe- Anelka, Henry, Petit, overmars, toure, lauren, ljunberg, manningger, silvinho, and a hole host of others have all peen plucked from reserve teams and given a new lease of life
4-wenger has revitalised the careers of most players at the club- the culture of fitness at the club is matched by no other in the premiership
5- Arsenals reputation as dirty and indisciplined may well be justified but....could you ever see a current arsenal player involved in the off the field troubles which have surrounded players like bowyer, dyer, yorke, terry and many others
6- coooooommmeee ooonnnn yooouuu goooonnnneeerrrs
