I dont believe that oasis copied off the beatles i can see the likeness between oasis and the roses but i think oasis are better. but i have the roses greatest hits and i can honetly say that i like about 7 of 15 tracks on there. I think the beatles are No1 by far music before them was so shit then all of a sudden about a million bands spawned from the success of the beatles.

Would say they're in the league of best band ever, but I also really like Ocean Colour Scene, really did expect them to get better recognition when the first appeared on the scene. Seen them in Newcastle a few months ago and they were brilliant
Also Madness seen them on Saturday night what a fucking laugh we had. Managed to get chucked off their tour bus guess the AAA ticket ddn't extend that far

I Love OCS 2! i saw them at birmingham NEC and how cool was the gig!!! loved it. they started with 100 mile high city and went on to the riverboat song and did a few new ones, but whilst try to do profit in peace the mic on the drum broke so they had a 5 min break where simon fowler was talking to the crowd. Is simon fowler gay?

Wouldn't of said Oasis copied off the Stone Rose, Yes it's the same genre of music but to say they copied is silly imo. With all the media etc saying that Oasis copied off the Beatles surely this means the Stone Roses did also?
Oasis actually admit to coping the Roses and the Beatles...Liam thought singing was for fairies until he saw Ian brown in the Roses live and that inspired him.... In the book "There and then"
The Roses in image and the Beatles in music...it so obvious as well

Not sure if he is or not cant remeber ever reading it anywhere. There gig in Newcastle sounds very similar in that they started with the same songs, must be the same set list? They done a awsome acustic version of Cool Cool Water. Got 'B Sides Seasides and Free Rides' playing in my car at the minute they're defiantley worth going to see again.

Agree with you elf, quality tune cool cool water. i liked robin hood as well. only reason i ask is cos i heard sum1 mention it the other day.
Macca. I agree with the image oasis give being similar to roses i just thought that oasis were better but i do like the roses. i know oasis say they copy the beatles but i cant see it except for their videos.
