I got my Samsung laptop from Comet.

Intel P4 2.6
512 mb Ram
30GB HDD
and the best bit, DVD re-writer, all for 1k,didnt think that was too bad really. Its been faultless upto now aswell.

If you really must get a laptop from PC World then get a compaq, those packard Bell ones are toss.
Dell do not have resellers, you can only buy a Dell from Dell.
The laptops and Desktops from Dell are second to none, we have 400 PC's and 60 laptops at work, all Dells, they hardly ever have a hardware failure and are bloody hard to break! You pay a little more for them but quality comes at a price. They also do finance....

You should buy from a computer only company if that makes sence

Coz they are the cheap pentium 4 cast offs...... even an older Pentium 3 processor is better than a celeron.
