Ive read that carbs need setting up on a regular basis, but somebody tried telling me once that it was TBs that needed setting up regularly. Take it its carbs then! Is because of the lack of ECU btw?

carbs need to be calibrated to alter air/fuel ratio..... each carb will alter/change ratio over time
With TB's this is goverened by your ECU map.... which should'nt alter once programmed
