Can you take a pic of the button to show me......
Would it work on a switch box like this???

As I have one of the above and have a spare switch.

yeah u would just have to flick it on then straight off, or it will burn the solenoid out. The demister needs to be switched on when u do this. U will also need to file the safety catch off the boot lock, i used an angle grinder to get rid of it as its made from high speed steel!

Couldnt you put a small push button switch in the rear bumper (underneath the plate recess, by where the number plate lights are). That way, you can just pop it from the back of the car, and dont need to keep walking round. Boot wont open when its locked anyway (like pushing in the button on the boot), so its not a security risk .

I know, i think ive Excelled myself with that one .
Might consider it myself now when i get my car. Smoothing and spraying should only be cheap, as its such a small panel .

Yeah!!! - Seems like a good price to me....
And Im thinking the extra £75 to have them heated instead of getting the FK M3 ones is going to be worth it in the long run.

Also u wont have any troubles with the wiring, it'll be straight swaps. I would amagine with the FK you'll have to fiddle around with the wires to get the electric bit to work
