I'm running a stripped out 1.6 Corsa on TBs. Makes 214bhp - this will be over 220bhp by April with air horn mods and remap. Runs a Quaife close ratio box with a very long first so 0-60 times won't be quite as quick as the 240bhp per tonne suggests. But once it's on the move and going round twisty stuff - then it's quick Let me know if you're interested.

On here I would say Andy's is fastest.

But if AK pulls his finger out that will be quick.

Someone needs to get into contact with the new owner of Lucky B's old Corsa as that is FWD car that Redline had ever seen, I'm not sure if thats changed since the Corsa Vs Saxo day.

I remeber people talking about that lee ages ago, didn't he have a porkie aswell

Anyways andy's is probably the quickest ON HERE at the moment, but yeah adam k's will be very quick probably as quick as Lucky b's from what adam has said, he's got 80% of the bits but needs building

Yeah AP racings should be very quick but heard it can't put the power down.

And whoever said about the 2.5 having a 3.0 bottom end, does that not make it a 3.0

yes yes yes.....

When will this be....? It may be the motivation i need

Dale was using my Throttle bodies as binoculars the other night

Spec as is - FWD fully stripped corsa B, witha c20xe, full cage, 300mm 4 pots, light wheels

was timed at 14.4 on the 1/4
would have done a low 6 if timed 0-60

Spec on the way.... if i stop using all the bits as ornaments

coscat head, flowed etc by powerzone. SBD lifters/platforms etc etc

2.1 bottom end using 88mm SBD pistons

lightened/balanced crank

arp rod bolts

tran-x diff

QED throttle bodies

DTA ecu

erm ??? canny mind the rest.... badger badger...

300'ish degree cams

Yep, that's right Lee Manning used to own the car, and he used to (and in fact still owns) a very nice Porsche Boxster on 19in BBS rims!
