its an early conversion. Andy at courtneay said there should be no problems.

Its had a new turbo 1000 miles ago. If it goes pop, aint a big problem to strip her down and built her up again.

Boring? I'd say its a lot more fun than a turbo X14 More potent for tuning also

Thought u said it had run ok in 10,000 miles? Why the hell has it needed a new turbo already? Shouldn't need one at all.

Every turbo X14 i've come accross has had major problems. I had one meant to turn up to the Corsa Vs Saxo day and he emailed me every single week. 1 email, he was comign, next email, something was wrong, next email, coming, next email, another thing wrong.

He ended up having enough and selling the car.

Just be weary. 1.4 16v turbos aren't the most reliable things!!!!!

everybody has them. Its nothing special when ya see a 20 litre under the bonnet. but a turbo'd 1400 vauxhall s a bit different. and thats what i want.

Not after superspeed, just summin a bit different.

if i was after reliability id get a toyota. Not worried about it breaking down, i have the facilities to fix it, all the tools, all the companies at my fingertips when i can get the parts.

If it breaks, then replace it with summin better.

well in that case thats fair enough. Hope you get it in and running well. Then get the mods suggested and it should be a peach of an engine

i hope a new inlet manifold is on ur shopin list craig (obvioulsy geti it in and runnin 1st, or fit the inlet wen u take the engine out, would be easier)

well this is another thing. Im waiting as i have a mate who is planning a valver soon. he has a velos one.

il nick that when he takes his engine out.
