You're supposed to, but there may be a number of reasons why you're not. The fact that it's completely wide of the mark and obviously requiring deletion may be one, as may it being one of an entire set of similar posts which have also gone.

To be honest Ian, i have no problem with you at all and i dont think i should waste my time emailing you explaining why we are all pissed off with Adam, when the reason is quite obvious. I just dont understand how some threads in off day that contain threats, racism and other controversial issues stay, yet other threads seem to be deleted for the most minor of reasons. I know for a fact moderating corsasport is far from easy and i also know for a fact that it will only get harder to moderate as more people sign up. Sorry to put this on here but i just dont see an email explaining what you already know making any difference at all.

I'm well aware that there is discontent but you're right about how hard getting it all in an email may be.
Specifics I can deal with so please let me know about those.
General issues are very difficult and unless you have a point to put direct to Adam in the first instance I'm unlikely to be able to act.
Although the staff structure is technically a hierarchy with Tim and I at the top and everyone else underneath, at the end of the day issues between mods and the posters in the forums over which they moderate are entirely outside of my control until all other lines of solution are exhausted.

What about kidnapping Trotty and cloning him. Then we could have him do all the moderating. He is one of the best moderators ive come across on all forums and you can have a right good laugh with him, yet when it is necessary he does what needs to be done

a poll is quick and easy , asking people to mail you is something people cant be bothered to do as name changes take weeks/months so theres really no point.

Nismo - I'm not asking people to mail, I said complaints can be mailed if you like. I'll also talk about it in a thread, MSN, whatever. What I won't do is support a vote of discontent from people who can't even be arsed to suggest something useful or get down on paper exactly what the problem is.
Post a poll, Adam gets voted out, I remove him and put someone in his place who does things identically?
Total waste of effort and IMO very difficult to avoid unless we actually get to the root of the problem rather than just a lazy lynch mob.
