£900ish in current account, took a bit of hammer over xmas and only just recovering.
£400 in Post Office account (which the buggers have decided to shut down)
Prob about £1500 in ISA by now, made over 10% in its first year

27.50 in my account I use all the time - Can't wait to get back to legoland on the 13th - need money...

Got about 1900-2000 in my other account though, not touching it however.

Wheres the best place to save money then? I fancie putting away £100-200 a month but wheres the best place to do it with the best interest rate ect ect?
It has to be easy to get the money back out when i want it not these 60 day wait things!

ISA has best int rate i think but not sure if you can take money out. if not just compare each bank rate for their savings accts.

For an ISA, you can only invest £3k each tax year, but can take out as much as you like...

Current account - £700+
Savings account - £300+

Although i have to pay £472 for my 6 months interest free ICE next month and abother £333 for my holiday in May.

Better than the position i was in last year

For an ISA, you can only invest £3k each tax year, but can take out as much as you like...


You get penalised if you take money out of an ISA, for best results you need to leave it running for a few years at least.

Bank balance at the mo, is about £850ish, although I have just been paid and was ~£700 overdrawn (as per every month )

Finances are not a strong point
