Looks like 3 of us saw the same reasoning at the same time.
6.9 for a V6 is a dream. The turbo is only listed as 6.4, although that is actually quicker than that....

Nahh its not being dumb, im going on what i've seen and my experiences against various different Vauxhalls.

What are the 190bhp ones fitted to? Vectra's and Omega's? Are they the 3.0's?

Were not the 190 ones MSD or something like in the better GSI and Super touring ?
As a completely useless side point, a few year back I hired an ST24 Mundano from Hertz, and they are not quick at all.

there is a lot of specualtion on the higher bhp v6's because apparantly the only difference is the fact they run 3.0 cams and ecu. my engine as standard is 167 and the gsi v6 is 190. u tell me how cams and ecu get those gains having said that at my last rolling road my car kicked out 180 and the gsi's 190 and that was modded

I know that 3.0 Cams in a V6 can give an instant 20bhp accross the rev range.

Its amazing in the corners, not much better in a straight line. I've yet to notice anything bad about it, so dont really know what people are on about with regards to snatching etc. Maybe its because I've got a fair bit less torque...
It does what they are meant to, whether its worth the cost or not I dont know. Its still very easy to loose traction in the wet.
