would have to be either...

Gladiator = dunno why, just really really liked it
Scream 1 = cos it remade horro films we know today...
StarWars = the old ones. 4,5,&6.. just class pure class.. for something that was made in late 70's early 80's it was just great

My current favourite film atm is Memento. Watch it on DVD, then use the hidden extra feature and watch it re-edited in reverse (ie in chronological order!) one film, one set of fottage, but two storylines - amazing - god knows how they thought that one up.

Probably loads more but cant think.

All time fave is Predator as its fucking awesome. Its as old a me and the effects are good even for todays standards Plus it was one of Arnies best (and least cheesy) films.

Green Mile is a very moving film, as is Forrest Gump IMO.

Leon is a class serious film, Pulp Fiction and Trainspotting are also quality.

T2, Matrix and early Star Wars trilogy are top for Sci Fi.

Dumb and Dumber, American Pie1&2 and Waynes World1&2 are good comedies too.

Other films I like are, ET, Final Destination, Rocky, Italian Job, Silence of the Lambs, Toy Story, Great Escape, Back to the Future, Oceans Eleven to name a few.

I'd say Green Mile as all time favourite though, I can still remember the first time I saw it it made such an impression.

I like most films, not keen on the matrix because I didn't understand it.

I like a good british comedy that doesnt look like it has cost too much to make.

The League of Extrodinary Gentlemen is one of my faves though.
