you can rev the nuts of them wee swifts, i actually quite like them

factory figures are usually crap, i take them with a pinch of salt

Pug's & VW's factory figures are with a passenger and half a tank of fuel i know for defo, dunno bout other manufacturers

i have a 1988 billboard advert for my 16v and VAG state in it, that it does 0-60 in 7.1s even though the factory figures state 7.9s

106's are something stupid like 8.2s if i remember correctly, but are really 7.4

The swift comes with around 130bhp on the gti, twin cam. if u find a gud swift thats been well looked after i believe these would beat the corsa gsi, but it wud b a close one with the pug gti. I was gunna get one of these swifts gti before i got my gsi but even tho the engines r gud the shell is very tinny and is more like a empty tin of beans with a gud engine, but i nice little fast car and isn't that much on insurance.
