How about we start at the beginning.

1. You should'nt have got pregnant
2. Once you knew you were pregnant and could'nt afford to keep yourself let alone children you should have had a abortion
3. You have lots of debts with store cards etc, MORE FOOL YOU.
4. I have no sympathy for you.

Sounds harsh but you must be a mug to get a loan for your boyfriend

U really ought to think about a loan to pay off all your debt... at least then you'd only have one monthly payment. Also, store cards... big NO NO!

yeah most store cards are around 30% apr which is just ridiculus. i'm suprised they're allowed to get away with it.

This is the answer!! Try egg they have very good rates at the moment Id avoid consoledation agencies as most charge almost as much intrest in the long run and they screw your credit rating for ages. Chin up gal and remember there are always people worse off, at least you and your kids are healthy etc

I know this sounds silly but £6k is not that much and you could easily get a decent rate personal loan from Egg etc.

as said the best way to help yourself back on your feet is to get a loan to clear all debts -

especially those storecards, with the amount of interest on store cards, the amount you'll beable to afford to pay off will end up being the interest, so your debts won't go n e where very fast = even more depressing

clear em all off on one gib loan, pay back 6000 over say 5 years and it'll only cost you APPROX £110-120 a month.

because at the end of the day if you leave it as it is now. in 5 years time you probably won't be any better off paying the cards etc off seperatly

try cahoot for a loan of 5-7k at about 5.9% APR. One monthly payment of about £120 (depending on term of loan) might make things a bit easier - or for smaller ones maybe a credit card like sainsbury's or mint who offer 0% on balance transfers for 6mths - ud have to not buy anythin else on it tho!
Dunno if this helps sassyminx?...
