no as i dont use my car often as i have no need to, and when i do use it - i want the power to be there
if i was out everynite i would prob get something cheaper to run, but (remember im 28) i dont wanna go out cruising or sit in a car park everynite, so it mainly gets used on weekends 
I hardly use mine, drive to work in it and it sits on drive at weekend. I have no life.

1.2 sxis seem to be really crap for fuel economy -
my bro has one and cant get more than 250 nmiles outa a tank - i thought yeah whatever, your just ragging it to bit like....
but no he ain't, rarely ever goes above 4K
me in my previous 1.4 16v and current 1.6 16v can get approx 300miles to a tank with normal plus a few red liners from a tank of fuel......
i put it down to be bro having to use more fuel during normal driving than i do, but still, i've got a 1.6 and can get at least 50 miles more to a tank than he can 
it ain't just me bro either, my mate has brand new 1.2 sxi and he drives like a granny and can't push more than 270 outa tank - he changes at about 2.5-3K ?
id love someone to beable to explain WTF is going on here cause it ain't a one off, i've always been able to get more MPG outa my 1.4 16v which had 74-91 K on it and my 1.6 which has 40K compared to their brand spankers of 1.2 sxis....

get about 340 miles too a tank of diesel. but then i work 3 miles from home, and otehr than going to see the missus and the pool and gym i hardly ever use my car. tank lasts me 3-4 weeks

ppl mainly say the sxi gearbox is crap, because on mtotorway last night on way to ponti it was revving at 4000rpm in 5th gear going 80

Few weeks ago when i was driving around with a fcuked cat converter, i was getting about 150 miles for £20.
Since i had that fixed, i can get around 220 for £20 in my 1.4 8v SRi.
