Literally 2 weeks ago it was 72.5!! Now about 78.9. Watched the local news earlier and they did a report on how much it has gone up recently. A town about 30 miles away, a petrol station there is charging 94.9p a litre!! And people go there!

It's cos the tabloids are whining about 'illegal imegrents' now... So no one cares about fuel prices... You gotta accept that people are stupid!

Less smoke and a smoother drive on mine mate.
Not worth the extra 5p+ a litre to be honest geez.
Meant to be the bollox on the later engines (HDI, VAG TDi etc) - stuff that is electronically controlled!

Warning on petrol price protests
New protests against rising petrol prices this summer are "a distinct possibility", one of the ringleaders of the last fuel revolt has said.
Sheep and cattle farmer Brynle Williams, from North Wales, helped organise the blockades which paralysed parts of the country in 2000 in protest against high prices.
Petrol prices have once again reached the level which sparked the protest.
Motorists are now paying 80p a litre following a surge in the cost of crude oil.
Mr Williams, now a Conservative member of the Welsh Assembly, told GMTV's Sunday Programme he would not be involved in any direct action but would be lobbying Chancellor Gordon Brown to cancel planned increases in fuel duty.
Mr Williams said: "I don't think it can be ruled out.
"I'm hoping that after seeing what happened the Chancellor will demonstrate common sense in this aspect."
Go for it...
