aye...shit happens...ive done loads of stuff when i first passed...even when i was learning i managed to smack the car into a coal box on a petrol station forcourt Ive reversed without looking in a petrol station (same one might i add) and cliped a vectra....luckily my bumper rested on the wheel of the other car and ive done a 540 into a ditch when it was pissing down with rain (bloody hard to) and the car just skidded everywhere....luckily i missed the on coming artic lorry, otherwise i would have been dead (would have been a 110mph impact...both speeds combined etc). Oh, ive also had a near miss with a mini on a country lane over taking some biddy doing 20 on a 60 limit...wasnt funny when you have a shit slow corsa for a car oh and nearly cause my mate to crash, when i over took a car and came face to face with another on the other side wanting to turn...mate had to slame his brakes on..was a dumb idea, but his face expression made me laugh all the way home
So yea, ive done stupid stuff...but we all have....my bro especially, putting an escort on two wheels going around a corner, smashing into roundabouts at 60mph etc At the end of the day you learn from your mistakes...no one is ever perfect at driving when they passed

i was funny as fook....not for him obviously, since he thought he was about to die....but he over took a little while later and he still looked like he was shitting brick but like i said was a dumb stupid thing to do, to put him in the situation in the first place...

Ruth, i'm sure you dad has made mistakes during his driving at some point.
I've just been to Tesco with my parents and my dad was driving; i was quite scared at some points because he was driving so close to parked cars, driving past buses even though they were signaling (i hate buses and just let them go They are a bit big to fight with ). At the end of are road he had to slam on because a girl shot past; he blamed her although it was his fault as the give way was at our end She was going a bit fast like but it was still his fault. NO-ONE IS PERFECT IMO.
