because its fun to do. its about getting hands on and building something we like. it beats wasting money pissing it up every night. i can afford a bmw but not the insurance on principal. i've not made my corsa into a bmw but it has more toys than one and will be faster than one once my friend james has his way with it. the point is you think modded cars are shit, i don't. thats where we differ. get your point across in a decent manner please. no point being abusive. but if you feel as strong about your hatred for these cars i'm saying it may be worthwhile to talk to us to gain a better understanding of why we do this. not "ha ha, your car is shit bruv, the spoiler looks like my nans crotch, what a piece of shit". come on, is it that hard to be constructive. do you get excited when you dish out abuse on the net? admit it, you do hide behind words.

by the way, you aint seen my car(prob) so i aint gettin personal with this issue. i've even had the elderly coming up to me saying nice things about my car and realising work and thought has been put into it, not just using the car as a preverbeal waste paper bin, the waste paper being money. i don't plan to make money on the car either. you simply assume that because my car is modified it is shit and that is plain ignorance and bad manners. p.s. my gay jibes are the result of a childhood trauma involving myself and three marmosets in a safari park which is an issue i'm quite sensitive about. maybe.

faster than which BMW exactly? cos i doubt very much that it would be faster than any M series in any respect and it would have to be have a lot of money thrown at it to compete with any respectable BMW. unless your talking about a 318 or some other 4 pot beemer.
