youll save ££ on petrol

erm if you tried to restart it then you probly have bent a few valves so id say c20xe time

a respray can be done anytime

always always change the timing belt and tensioneres on that engine unless you can verify it being done and at what mileage, but you choose to spend money on mods instead. I would not bother to attempt to repair that engine, it would never be the same. Take it you bought it privately and dont have a warrenty? again see reason for timing belt.

There was a low mileage c16xe on Ebay, got to be more economically viable fitting that then attempting to fix yours. plus easy to do new timing belt and tensioners at the same time.

With both my corsas couldnt verify cambelt change so spent £££`s on doing them as soon as i got it, i was itching for alloys but had to wait and save up.

bought it private with 84k on, that makes me think it was due a timing belt when i got it, now its onn 92k

my dad just rang me n he sed to me that he will lend me money to get it fixed on the condition that i sell the car when its fixed

i dont know wot to do, i need to get it fixed but im seriously thinkin about just breaking it for spares im proper gutted now like
