rofl im not quiet...just busy...

That bike IS better than yours...

That bike has Full XT components...where as your running Tiagra

Your forks are 4-5 years old and the Z1 drop off's were really shit...thats why they are not popular these days...

His forks are 2 years old, and a very good fork!

Your forks look shit on your bike becuase of the massive variation of colour....

His chain wheel is worth the best part of £100...ur's is not....

PLUS - Your running a 24" rear wheel...which means its SHIT for riding any real distance...

End off...ur's is NO WAY NEAR Worth £500

More like £300-400 ( if your lucky, i would have said £300 )

End

You might have been looking at my bike... But, you should go to Halfords to get a run around bike, cos you can test it out to get the right size and shape, as different manufacturers frames have different geometry... Also they'll service it and everything for you after a few weeks for free... Not too expensive either

If you're just after a cheap bike then don't even go for a "brand" bike - just something like the halfords Carrera range will be good enough.

Check out a few online MTB shops like Wheelbase http://www.wheelbase.co.uk and Stif http://www.stif.co.uk for ideas and prices.

Eeeugh - that just oozes tackiness. For that money get yourself a rigid frame and the hopefully the chainset will be better spec'd.
Oversize tubing just screams "steer clear" to me
