Tim - HIC where the best on the phone and they just said we wont even bother going through the questions as I hav e0 ncb! But he said with them that with 1 yrs ncb i should go back and they will give me a 30% discount

dont forget to tell adrian flux that you are a premium member on corsasport, you will get up to 15% discount which helps a lot. I think i got about £215 off mine

Well I got insured on my 2L with HIC last year for £1400 odd FC... 21 with 0 NCB....
So from what you're saying it should be around £1000 renewal this year.... HOPEFULLY but I doubt it...

well just spoke to hic,
they said £1700 tpft, but know they wont insure me as ive been in australia for 5 months! And that i have had a car permantly insured here for 2 years!!
This just gets worse!
What do i have to do to be able to get a decent car that i can take to shows etc??

And also now insured on his kit car which he said i can use over the summer!!
Dont get any no claims but im saving over £1800 to insure under my name fc! Which to me is a lot of cash as a student!

Still if when you got ur first quote from Flux if you had got a reference number wiv it then the policy quote should be valid for about 4-8 weeks with most. They have to give u some time to think bout it i.e 4-8 wks I had a quote sent to me for my old nova that was valid until 4 months after they had quoted me!!!!!!
