Thats awesome Kolin but again the running costs are going to be even higher than that on the Boxster.

How many Boxster drivers did you have to sleep with to form this opinion?

MY Dad has one, he got it brand new, had to wait 9 months to pick it up. I have to say i thought it was going to be crap, like everyone says a cheap 911, but it isn't like that at all, its built as well as a 911, and handles soo well, sounds loverly with the performance exhaust system too

For £25k you can have one of these and afford to swap the supercharger for a Kenne Bell and upgrade the upper and lower pulleys. Hello 600bhp

Then you could do this

I'm working as a mechanic at a Porsche Garage.

I Must say, the Boxster handles great.
Much more playable, from the rear.
When a 996 comes out of it's rear, it's verry bad to handle.
Certainly when you don't have the driving experience, trust me, i was when i found it out.

When you set a standard 996 with no options, next to a Boxster S, i must say, i've rather have the Boxster.

Any tuned up Jap cars just do nothing for me. They always go bang eventually, they're always too loud, and they always look like the very epitome of bad taste.

And they'll also utterly rape any Boxer and 996 (exept Turbo). Horses for courses I guess, maybe when I'm an old man I may go for something 'sensible' and more sedate

Yes but you still have a ford, and even if its faster, it isn't a Porsche

To be fair, you could pick up a used boxster for 25k, and i'd much rather have that than that ford thing
