I agree with Andy, maybe less emphasis on the "chav" element and the stick on tat. And more features on tuned cars.
Your sales figures obviously show though that the majority of your reader like the stick on tat!

in the current issue there's a 400bhp Focus, (claimed) 500bhp Evo, 270bhp Nova drag car, 743bhp Porsche, Scooby TOTB qualifying, 280bhp Civic, 234bhp Corsa, and the Redline Rumble which included some incredibly fast cars including the 9 second CRD Supra.
A mag is a visual thing, so some of the cars are all about styling, but we ALWAYS make sure we have a full compliment of performance cars.

This isn't the place to discuss the quality of the mag although in response to those people saying its in the same boat as the other pornos I'll remind you who have a big part to play in TOTB, the rumbles and whose staff all spend a fair amount of time on tracks driving quickly.
Maybe I'm bias as I've been to a fair few events with the team but that says enough really. Things are going on.

Cheers Ian. While I'm the first to admit that Redline has its fair share of 'chav', it also (Evo asside) has the highest proportion of performance based events/track days/performance cars of any magazine on sale in the Uk. We also have a mix of style based cars because, believe it or not, there are a lot of readers who are much more interested in looking cool amongst their peers, than they are in going quickly. After all, what was your first car? For many it was something with a small engine - for me it was a 957cc Fiesta!
All I would ask is that anyone wishing to make a sweeping statement at least look at the mag before you comment. Especially if you haven't read it for a while!
