im thinkin of a 1.6 16v conversion cause of age and money and insurance etc.. what these like? i know there nothin like the 2ltre but id notice more of a grunt from my 1.2 16v? whats like top speed on these etc.. cheers

if my valver in theory tops out at 130-135 i cant see ypu astra doing this plus the f15 your running isnt geared to do that kinda top end

i thought valvers where spose 2 do like 140-150?

yeah i am running a f16 and it spins like a fcuker

good for strip action as it appears to accellerate quicker than with my f20 not too bothered about top end really

i dont have the std gear box either and my engine has had a few mods,

it deffo hit 135 it was on the snooper, my speedo tops out at 130 and it was off the clock

well what gearbox you got? quaife jobbie? cos anything bigger than a f15 wont fit a small block XE....

Well Ive Seen 145mph Out Of An F20 And It Was Standard Apart From A Decat I Believe. And It Was An Astra GSI

nah ive been keeping it below 4000rpm the now, i jus want to open it up though im itching to do it. but will just have to wait for another few miles 1st..

was out at lunch there in it, and it jus makes me grin all day long
