Just curious why left hand drive? did you get a good deal on it? Its bloody well hairy overtaking in a left hand drive car in the uk.

Im fond of smarts (used to sell them) but 1- i wouldnt get a left hooker
2 - I wouldnt get anything before a Mk6,
3 - I would probably go for a Pulse not a passion before mk7 as the gearboxes are strange, they have i mind of their own.
3k is a bit steep for a T-Reg, can get a 51 plated one for bout that round here.

I've searched hi and low for one, and as I said, my problem is I wanted to swop my CR-V for a smart car thus I needed cash back and so that ruled out Private sales!
I went to go purchase a Yreg one from Smart Manchester for £3995 and they tried selling me a T reg at £4995 and refused to sell the Y reg RHD one to me!
Basically the CR-V was costing too much and I wanted a small car for town driving (Rob has his Astra Coupe so no need for 2 big cars)
Plus with me having the big car, at work I always got asked and found it hard to say no, to transport computers and large objects around the offices in Hull. Plus I was always giving people lifts and shit, so this is my protest! and their fun to drive!
