Got a bulk buy pack of polishing cloths from Costco wich are almost as good as the Auto Glym ones, although I tend to use an electric buffer. First I use a pad similar to the polishing cloths and then finish with a pad that is super soft. Then I'll go over all the more intricate bits with a polishing cloth.
I also use fast glass on my tints and car glass polish on the exterior glass, followed by bumper care, wheel cleaner, vinyl and rubber care on me tyres and then a damn good kip!
It's a full day job if ya wanna do it properly! Needless to say I don't do this very often.
Never tried Meguires, it's not as easy to get hold of round these parts so I just go with Auto Glym.

P.S. you don't want to use T-cut or any other harsh products on reasonably new paint because it thins the paint. T-cut is only meant for cars where the colour has faded or to remove small scratches and car wash marks. (the swirls)

i always use meguirs now used to love autoglym but meguirs is easier!!
Firstly use the shampoo stuff and wash off with little water and u see the water beading
nice autoglym chomois and mega hot water
then use the 3 stage meguirs stuff or do what i do now
apply the polish gold class not the paste stuff
then the wax with the deep shine over the top, use wire wool on the exhaust inside and autosolve elsewhere!
Then black to black on tyres and dash parts etc but leave doors open or you will flake out!!
always does a bling job on mine, i can do the whole car from scratch in 3 hours that includes the engine!!

The Auto Glym trade stuff ur talkin about is called Superglym... tis great stuff... sorts swirls etc and gives the showroom shine also i only use Auto Glym Perfect Polishing Clothes cos i have a new celica and the paint is sooooo soft anythin else would scratch and leave swirls all over the car...
