well my 1.4 sport did 114mph @ 5800rpm ish on standard alloys (14") and that was on a flat, running optimax with the ecotek valve and a chopped air box but that's all

My Nova is a hell of a lot faster than Rachels 1.4 16v, I swear my SXi was faster than her Sport, I don't remember it ever being as slow as that

i got 121mph out my gsi in 5th at about 6100revs with standard gsi alloys, would not hit the redline!
but thats about right according to factory figures
as standard the 1.6 are not that fast... but they are very tunable as they are so restricted! wack on a new exhaust, better induction filter, un-restricted inlet manifold, mapped uni-chip and you should have yourself a rapid little car

I got 142.6 out of my 1.4 16V, but that was at 7900rpm
However that speed in a nova is not too safe
and yesh corsa's are gash, but you got to love them

264, 10mm lift are the limit of a std engine and std management can cope with them. a tubular manifold and inlet change would also go along with this nicely, piggy back ecu or full mappable and would have thoguh 150BHP is in reach.
