of course chelsea aren bothered. but i feel its just bad for the english game, and made a mockery of it. a foreigner has come along, spent loadsa money, and now 'his' team are top of 'english' football. ffs, its only a hobby to him aswel, makes us look stupid.

dont agree with you there.. since 1994 we have only been on the up.. semi finals and finals of cups.. and every year almost we have finished higher up in the league.. 1999 we were 3rd with 4 points difference with 3 games to go and we blew it.. man utd and arsenal and blackburn all spent to compete the seasons after not winning the title.. chelsea have not been an average team since 1994.. even 1989/90/91 when we were promoted from old div 2 we were close to the top for many parts of the season but our inconsistencey let us down 92-95 was our transition period .. man utd will now need theres.. arsenal needed theres when there famour back 5 grew too old..
id prefer it if we had more english home grown talent as i no we have had it and not given it a chance.. todays game is so money motivated that previous years is totally irrelavant only the past 5 years where money hasnt been the major issue since Blackburn spent alot..
Dont think we will win it next year as Arsenal may spend £20 on few players to compete..
imo Abramovich opend up the transfer status with more £ in the system.. only downfall is sum teams like leeds trying to compete have bad management and it back fires.
