friend has a VR6 and i got vectra V6 and to be honest there aint a huge amount in it. Its faster off the line then mine but does weigh 200-250kg more!! i dont think it sounds impressive at all but then you aint gona buy a car cos of the way it sounds!! His is alot thirsty than mine, he averages 26-28mpg at best.
But at the end of the day its a V6 and they just rock!! so do it!

Mine does 14.660 sec 1/4, 6.8 to 60mph and 155 mph.
has 238 bhp and 227 lb/ft torque
They are v thirsty but are a well built car that is a laugh to drive and should go on for 180, 200,000 miles if well looked after

there is one near me for 1700. i was really tempted. the only thing that stopped me was the mpg
