ye i know brett and Dave France who Built it, they live about 15mins from me.
i will find out which box, i think hes still on the F20 with LSD but will find out, he was going to get a Quaffe one but somthing came up and he has to sell.
will let u know about the Stack....

The car has all the right bits and obviously has had an awful lot spent on it! However like most i think he will struggle to get £10k for it £8k possibly!
Looking at the gearlinkage i would be amazed if it isnt a quaiffe straight cut box!!

Box is 6k-ish IIRC, or the six speed gearset for an F20 is 3k-ish +VAT.....
Lad our way has one, and knows where there is another cheap... bastid LOL...
Say it transformed his car with the ratios. I want one!

Nice car, but £25k or not, its not worth £10k imo. As has been said, S1 RST's go for silly money, but then their a sought after classic, with a following for owning mint examples, rather than modified ones. They were a genuine sportscar back in the day, with a "pedigree" style background from motor-racing and previous RS marques.
Im actually a really big fan of nice novas, but i just cant see anything that special with this one. Its jusat another nicely modified example, thats had a bit more care taken when doing it than most.
Only comparison i can think of is Declan Burkes (I think?) Red Nova GTE with the 1.6 16v engine on throttle bodies. What did that go for, Anyone know?

Seats are £950 each
and i do not lie when i say nut and bolt rebuild ever bolt and nut has been taken off and replaced with brand new

brett dident just spend 25k all at once it has been a ongoing project for years, so spends abit here abit there
i recon there some corsas off here which are nearly if not more then 25k
i recon mines on about 25k (payed 12k new for vauxhall for the car and easy spent 10k+ over the 4-5 years i have had it)

Thats a Quaife selector, so he must have upgraded. I think there will be someone out there who will pay that kind of money for the car. All-singing-all-dancing Group A Nova's are worth 14k new
