dont get the boot pops from supernovas' they dont work as well.

they are cheaper and easier to fit from maplins, just fitted mine in about 15 mins, just want to wire it up to the alarm. im gonna smooth my boot soon too, but gonna weld it.

you will need to paint the whole tailgate really.
keep the filler in thin layers, builing the shape gradually. thats way too much on there.
use a sanding block to get the required curve

did some more work last night on my boot, sanded down the 1st layer of body filler then found little holes so filled them up with more bodyfiller and added another small coat so all can be smoothed now

u should try rubbing it down with a block then u should be able to keep the same line of the boot!

its easy to get summit smooth u just gotta try and stop it looking wavy when its painted that the hard bit! block of wood under wet and dry should help stop this!

so its best to use a sanding block now instead of the mouse? i have got one its just easyier 2 use the mouse and get its like semi smooth then use the block with wet and dry, ill have more of an idea when ive primed it how well the curve is? cheers

when i prime it will i be able 2 tell more how well the curve is than just looking at it now?

Yea prob, also will show the high and low spots if you were to sand it again and it gets in the pin holes showing you where you mite wanna put a tiny bit in
