Fast car I've been in:
My mates RS500 Cosworth 590 BHP at the rear wheels in a D Reg car. This things running a T25 (Think it's a T25 not sure though) at 2.1 Bar of boost. He's spent over £25K on the engine alone and is built to racing spec.
F*ck me it's quick, but because of the size of the Turbo it takes for ever to spool up, but when it does flipping hell does it shift. You are thrown and pinned into the seat.
No use on a standing start as it can't get the power down, but when it's rolling it's silly quick. Out accelerated an R1 motor bike and left it for dead. Just one of the many cars/bikes it's killed.
Only problem is it keeps on blowing Diffs and other parts, but it's going to cost too much money to uprate. £7000 for an uprated diff, £8000 for an uprated gear box etc... etc...
Fastest I've driven:
70 MPH the maxium speed limit

it was an import, my mate was the second person to own it from the uk, when he asked what had been done to it he was given a massive list in japanse 
but this thing was fast! trust me.
he got rid of it and got a second one, he test drove 6 and he said they were all slow, he regrets selling it now!

Paula Corsa, are you going on what you have read on the internet, or going from experience of actually going in it?
I love the fact that an army of people think its not that quick LOL.
The odd occasion its been to a timed event its ALWAYS had drivetrain problems (which are now fixed  ).
Lets look at some facts, in my car I beat the 430ft/lb Saph I mentioned. When I raced the Nova it made my car look like it was going backwards.
Even when it was on the max pooooooo DVD with my car it would not select 2nd to 3rd without a LOT of persuation.
When you have actually experienced the car first hand come and tell me its slow

Fastest car ive ever been in is one of Dubsports Mk.2 golfs, think it was kickin out about 450+ bhp
now sold and was in max a bit ago, like a burnt orange colour it is. 'kin mazin!
