i have never found this out - but do ECU's get warm when running? As you could cut a hole in the seat and have a heated seat - when you dont want a heated seat (i.e. in summer) turn the engine off

Mine still isnt hidden

Took lee about 2 hours and a million cable ties and i told him to stop as it was 11.30pm

leave it out, and when you park up disconnect it and take it with you

mine is above my shins below the steering wheel, tie wrapped. Can't see it really but going to try moving it into the place where the ecu was in the first place.
