Thanks! Its a 1997 1.6 sport! I got some sort of 3 month warranty on the car when i bought it so I might be able to get it fixed under that?

doubtful a warranty will cover that, warranties have many many get out clauses, unless something obvious goes like say a water pump it wont be covered trust moi

i also have these problems...doesnt really bother me except it sounds like im revving it at traffic lights and junctions

It didn't do it all the way home, until I stopped to turn left into my street! Then it just went crazy! My dad had a word with this warranty company and they will pay for it! Dads mate owns a garage and reckons it is the idle control valve sticking!
