i would seriously consider having it live mapped, lads on passionford say its the way forwards
having it live mapped has the problem of finding somewhere quiet enough to do it tho, air field would be ideal... (am i right in thinking a live map is when its mapped on the road)
yep you would be right mark, one of the ford tuners (NMS) seem to map all there cars now with fantastic results though

it would be the way forward really if there is space available as its getting the air flow etc unlike a rolling road......

Phone other rolling roads and explain your problem to them. One of them may well give you a good deal to pop down and fill a cancellation spot for them to have a look. Ive done this before, filled a spot when someone cancelled and got it cheaper, as they would rather get money than sit around earning nothing. I saved 60 quid.

Id rather spend 100 quid at another RR than thousands trying to find a problem that might not even exist.

They can never get a perfectly accurate conversion from wheels back to the fly wheel, theres no equation for it.

That would make sense for the difference - but possibly not for the torque.
It's v.strange. I could only imagine with those mods if it's geniunely running that power (171) the setup of the cams / timing / offset to each other must be way off to cause it not to run at it's best.
can't you get tom to just put the original cams in as if it was completely standard and then see what happens? should increase the torque figure anyway - as cams tend to reduce overall torque but extend it further on the rev range.

ooo the figures produced from the rolling road report are flywheel figures or wheels figures?

if it feels better than it did when it was 205bhp, it suggests that one set of rollers was slightly badly calibrated!

If you think its running better I would disregard all power figures and get it up the pod and see what it does.
If your getting mid 14's with that kinda power then there is nothing wrong. If your getting mid 15's there is something wrong.
