Shame the AA guy couldnty have tested the fuel, or took a sample, as that way it could have been done on the premisis, and it would have been done by someone independant, so just looks better if they start being funny .

TO BE FAIR all petrol stations are franchises therefore the garage and not BP would probably be liable...

I used to get Shell Optimax but as I now live out in the sticks the nearest petrol station to me is BP which is 4 miles away.
I've started using their normal unleaded and I must say it seems to be better (and cheaper) than Optimax... Very weird... Also with the Optimax I noticed that if I fill up from the Shell petrol station in Headington, Oxford, my MPG isn't as good as when I fill up with Optimax from the Shell petrol station in Slough (trading estate)... Same mileage etc.
Oh well.
Good thing about the BP near me is that they speak English (they are all white there)...

not necessaryily ed, itll go to the small claims court, usually the person with the most money will make a payout to stop it going to court! however i dont think itll get to court! im sure BP will make the corect decision and act accordingly!

Yeah, BP are nvestigating it and if it is their fuel then they will have no problem in paying me for the damages, aswell as compensating loss of earnings and the way i was treated.
Jamsport are picking my car up tomorrow and they will clean all the lines out and drop the tank to check it.... basically do a complete check,.,

Surely if it was the fuel, the new fuel you pumped in wouldnt have reached the enging till all the old petrol in the lines and feul rail was used up, you would have made it some way down the road surely??
