yer, i'll just take it easy when i get the 2.0, i'm not gonna do it till after christmas, and erm... if i crash, at least i'll be havin fun? dont drive fast on public roads anway (and still wouldnt if i could... before anyone says anythin)

vegas phil - its a shit standard 1.0 litre, that isnt worth £2k, and he thinks after driving a 1.0 he can handle a 2.0 l ?? okay then

well what should i do? buy a 1.2, sell that for a 1.4, sell that for a 1.6, then put a 2.0 in there? i used to drive my mums mini cooper s before she sold it for a corsa c (stupid bloody women) so its not like i cant drive cars with a bit more power

no man, if you can afford to get a 1.4, it will feel quick at first to wat youve got now, but youll be able to handle it easy enough.... then save up a bit, get some experience of a reasonably quick car and then step up to the 2.0 lol

I still fail to see your point . You make it sound like anyone that drives a low power car shouldn't jump to a big car straight away!

Say I drive the 1.2 8v for a couple of years then decide to buy a 2 litre car should I not be able handle it??

to be honest, if i could of found a 1.4 in such good condition, i would of gone for it, but this car was exactly what i wanted, albeit smaller engine, but engine wasnt a priority when i bought it

i didnt think 1.0 is much slower than 1.2 or 1.4 corsa's from what ive been told, bottom end of course, or am i well wrong?

no theres nothing slower than 1.2 8v, but 1.0 litre is still crap

basically i got the car for the shell, not the engine, driven parents cars before i bought my own car(the mini, fiesta zetec, ford sportka, 1.8 astra) not exactly fast cars, but im not exactly the kid raggin his 1.0 thinkin itsthe fastest car on the road!
