As long as your average speed between them was around 40 then you should be ok. All depends on what their threshold is set at though

I went through some road works a week ago and got told afterwards that they had that type of speed camera in the roadworks. I can't remember if I was speeding at all cos the limit was 50 and I would probably have been doing 50 or thereabouts so hopefully wont get a ticket.
People were flying past me so theres gonna be alot of people getting tickets!

well just rang my good ol' father his words were:
1)dont tell your mum
2)ask for exact speed
3)tell them visability was poor and you werent aware of them
4)ask for a photo to be sent

I got a letter 2 months ago saying i was speeding. I asked for the photo and i`ve herd nothing back from them since. I havnt sent the form back, and wont till i get the photo.

Anyway 40mph isn't an overly excessive speed that would merit getting your licence endorsed with any more than 3 points. Unless the bitch dealing with it is suffering a bit of PMT
You won't have to go to court unless you plead not guilty, the speed itself isn't worthy of court proceedings either. 3 points and a £60 fine www.dealwithit.com

i got a letter throught the post once claiming i was caught speeding. i had NEVER driven on that road EVER!
contested it and won, turned out they had put the camera van location down on the form incorrectly and i got off with it
it even got press coverage! it turned out that 60 other motorists had the same incorrect fine and had just paid up the cash and accepted 3 points
i say contest it until they show you evidence (photo) to prove it was you.

is it just me that thinks if it can be proven to be you doing the speeding then whats the point in trying to contest it as you shouldnt have been speeding anyway!
