thats the method we tried, ended up rounding off the stars on the bolts! they are seriously tight. bring some fancy tools when you come, and help me

the missus thought i had gone nuts, engine bits in the freezer and the oven.









then she opened the dishwasher and there was a cylinder head in there

i didnt dare put my cylinder head in the dishwasher, i think my dad would of killed me.
i'l use the industrial ones at work instead.
might try and get the gearbox in there to

i'm gonna use the x16 head i think, but as far is i was aware the x16xel had a different inlet manifold and cams, but the heads were the same, but then again, i dont know, i'll compare when they are off

Simple physics. Inners contract due to cold, outers expand due to heat, then take em out, slip the inner into the outer and leave them to reach room temp. When that's done, they'll be firmly sealed together.
