Tensioner should be alright for now just might fo through a few belts Can you change the pulley and alternator pulley to teethed ones ? cause then i could use a teethed belt and wouldnt have a problem.

i know i can do them my self but i have no car jack so i would rather pay quick fit a couple of quid to fit the gasket and seal it with silicone or whatever they want to use..

You can change the one on the alternator yes, but not so sure about the bottom pulley...

The wider belts came in to prevent slipping, greater surface area you see.

Rob, have you kept your electronic power steering?

If so you can change the pulleys to v-belt pulleys rather than wide belt pulleys.

Yeah im using EPS nice one Dude thats what i was wandering

Drove it today was ace : but then i somehow blew the fuel pressure regulator off the injector rail car = dead put the regulator back in and tightened it up but its still leaking so think it needs a new seal even though seal looks fine..

If your secondary air pump is unpluged that is why the EML is on.

All seems good now it pulls after 5k like no mans business, needs the limiter raising as it wants to keep on going ... got a new manifold gasket coming tomorrow so going to fit that which should make it run a hell of alot better... then i will tackle the eml problem ... doesnt seem to be affecting speed much though but anyway done 100 miles today with no problem after the slight miss hap of the fuel pressure regulator this morning ...
