in a vectra,cav or calibra or astra sport,yea n its economical n quick,if u do some mounts wud u sell on?as i wud want sum?n timmy what shafts u using?

i think the reason people under estamate um,is cuz those engine r in big cars,cavs,vectras etc so it would be slow in those cars,

i would like to attempt a corsa b 1.7 dti, (engine out of a new astra van) i reckon that would shock a few ppl's cars! the vans are quite quick as it is

i prob use the gsi shafts then n cav inner c.v joints,tbh the engine looks good in the corsa aswell

ave got my engine sprayed in a light flip paint so shud look real good a reckon just gotta put it all back together with out scrathing any of the paint haha

in the actual fitting, e.g - air flow sensors/map sensors etc etc, its just a bit confusing when there is a spiders web of pipes and wires all needing a place to go! ive done most of the fitting on a mates xe so it should be alright :S

theres tons more for the ecotec,its newer,and that generally means more wires,when I took the loom out of the calibra I had there were hundreds,really are loads,pipes arent bad tho m8i same as xe so thats ok

The first bit holds the throttle cable in place, and I imagine the other bit is a breather pipe of some sorts for something.

its a wire that bit on the left ive got it on the omega.

ive seen that xev corsa, was at the cumbrian car show, very tidy looking.

my favourite part is the std air box, actually wish i managed to hook thr std air box up to me xe corsa as they run far better with them.

but yes, as you say, its a nice car. different from every other millions of xe's that were there
