is it me or is there 3 people with the same alpine hu with the same builds lol!! Got the same HU so might have to get the build done!!

Here are some latest pics, having lot of trouble gettin it totally smooth, never seems to get much better lol, had about 50layers of filler
need to keep sanding the damn thing.
I know what im doing after this, putting the mfd in the crash panel and hazard switch.

Try to use a sanding block, one of those foam jobbys. if you sand with paper and fingers you'll never get it even

thx 4 replies guys, im tempted to fill holes or maybe leave and tidy up a bit.

4got to add, do u think i should spray outer edge of screen so it blends in more?

Cool spray the outside of the screen so it blends in..... what are the white dots near the heater controls ?and why did you smooth those bits off :S ?

yeh am thinking of spraying screen although it looks good when u see in normally and not in pics. i left those 2 holes to put some leds in, its white cos i havent put it bk properly and theres no picture bit in ther.

i sprayed my screen to match, had the same one as you aswell 306corsa!
looks good mate, takes along time and alot of hard work - well done

now get crackin with those door pods!

erm...one question.... is the screen gonna stay in all the time? i remember seeing someone making the surround with a indent just underneath where the screen sits. so u could pop the screen out for security reasons.

yeh screen will stay in all time as i dont leave car anywhere
Altho as it is A headrest screen i left space to put keys into to take it out.

what are the sunvisor screens like i was gonna get a set to go with motorised head unit but wasnt sure if they fit ok etc as there universal
