Jamborina, if I was you I would'nt modify it. Maybe put some early Turbo fan wheels on it, but would'nt do anything else.

Phase 3.5+

ECU on exchange £100.00 refundable surcharge

This is an upgrade from phase III, specifically designed to allow more driveability for the 2 wheel drive cars, with a very small over boost. This enables a healthy standard turbo to run more boost even with a worn waste gate.
ECU must be sent for modification.
Modifications include a recalibrated pressure sensor and a new top chip.
315 Bhp (242Kw/315Ps 475Nm) 1.25 bar boost pressure

ollie no exterior work shall be done. Early fan wheels would look odd on a late spec one.
Itl get 18"s at some point when i can be arsed/afford it.

THink Pahse 2 and amassive intercooler 280BHP and over 300lbs torque, bang on a hybrid k16 and you're laughing.

This seems the most reliable set up to have, oh and maybe a better clutch.

18" would look ok but u will need at least 330mm disks otherwise your brakes will look tiny.
I can give u a number for the guy that mopped my p1 and he will come to u dude

Don't fit 18's, thats when you will start getting problems with the transfer box, especially if you lower it.

My friend looked into lowering it and its not really healthy and you can only go down 20mm.

Lowering a Cally is an ass because of the way the IRS works... Unless you wan't to convert it into double wishbone

Erm.... No.

As long as the rolling radious is the same as the stock it will be fine.

If you run a 215/35 tyre then that is exactly the same as as the stock 16" wheel rolling radius so that will be fine.

35mm is the total upper limit for lowering - but you will need camber correction bushes (www.wallaceperformance.co.uk)

For phase 3.5

The stock turbo will take it, but a hybrid would spool up quicker and easier believe me it makes a huge difference

You will need an FMIC - if you use the EDS item - this fits perfect everytime and you can retain you air conditioning.

ARP Conrod bolts will be needed

FPR will be needed

High flow fuel pump will be needed.

The above is MUST have's if your planning phase 3.5

Other nice things to have would be

Clutch
Cams
Hybrid Turbo
Brakes

Glad your happy Jambo

I disagree, I think you will have more problems with heavy 18's not designed for the car than the standard wheels.

I myself ran 18's on my previous Calibra turbo.
The TXB's are not chocolate as long as they are serviced like anything else.

Yes they have a tolerance like anything else - but as long as the rolling radius is the same then it will be fine.

Ollie what teddy is saying is right.

TXB will go poop if the wheels/tyres are differnet sizes (rolling radius) than intended. i.e wheels that go outside this, OR tyres with more than 2mm tread difference. That will overheat the TXB.

As mentioned it will have a switch to convert to FWD as well as 4x4 to prolong it as its not needed when popping to spa to buy some bread

Would switching it on and off all the time not annoy it? It might throw its dummy out of the pram?

Not at all.
I used to run my Cally Turbos and my Cav turbo in 2wd all the time unless i NEEDED my 4wd - ie hard driving or very bad weather.

NOT PHASE 3.5
i wouldnt go any higher than phase mate, and spend money making it into a concourse car rather than one thats going to cost you ££££ repairing all the time

Stick with phase 2, with arp rod bolts, head bolts etc etc

Loving the cally though
