yea,

I had a tiny loan on my 1.8 which i paid off quicker to get it done with...

that gave me a better credit rating to get my mortgage,

plus i have been with my bank and the same account for 20 years (since i was born) .. never had any probs

Its learning how to save and not want everything done at once.....which is a hard lesson to learn!
Im 23, go out drinking about once a month but tend to waste my cash on clothes, restaurants adn bills, and i only spend £30 a month on petrol

Always worked hard and been fairly careful with money. Got my car when i was 16 and started doing bits, have had various since then, but always tend to buy parts second hand, or shop around for the best price. Ive always said ill never spend more then 1k on insurance, if it comes to that id rather downsize on the engine.

Ive managed to finish school, go straight onto uni without a year out, sort my car to a reasonable level and get a mortgage on my flat, turned 19 last october.

That said, with a few unexpected bills etc im going to have a struggle on my hands over the summer to make enough money as Ill have about 600 quid of debt on my student account fom this year, and still be paying the mortgage over the summer. ill need to make somewhere in the region of 5500 in three months unskilled labour! (hard t get anything better with the chance of overtime!)
