Insurance aside, the only one of those that you'd get for the same money is the 182, and reading all of the owners reviews, there's no way I'd buy one, due to their reliability and build quality.

one other question... i just read that the 1.8 has rear drums is this true and as anyone had any braking troubles or replaced them with discs

It has rear discs not drums, and has red painted brake calipers as standard.
